The Flame Painted VaseAyra's most special unique sculptural vases. The technique used is known as slab building where a sheet of clay is formed into a desired form. The even thickness with thin walls makes the technique exclusive as it takes great stability to form these vases. Burnishing is a process of polishing the clay with stones in its semi dried state. It is a labor intensive yet meditative process which can take a couple of hours to complete. Process: Hand Built
