LALIZAS Hydrostatic Release Unit for Liferafts, SOLAS/MED/USCG-MERLALIZAS HRU mechanism is the outcome of a long term experience in liferafts manufacturing, designed and produced in the EU (in Greece), in accordance with SOLAS MED USCG MER regulations. It can be easily installed on board, attached to the liferaft according to instructions. The mechanism is being automatically activated, in the event of sinking, in a depth of between 1,5 and 4m, allowing the liferaft to be inflated and detached from the sinking
