Late C18th Dollond Achromatic Library TelescopeOur Stock # LFA 1382 This is an antiqueDollond, achromatic library telescope c. 1790. Mounted on a solid brass tripod stand with cabriole legs and spade feet the mount allows fluid movement in both the horizontal and vertical planes. The telescope consists of a mahogany barrel, single draw tube and rack and pinion fine adjustment tube operated by a thumb wheel to the side of the main barrel.
