The cabinetry is in an attractive, mellow, satin pine, the chest raised on a plinth base with serpentine bracketing to the front. The deep, dove tailed, drawers are arranged in a two over two configuration showing few knots, a stepped edge detail and dressed with later pierced brass drop handles and quatrefoil lock escutcheons.
