Chateau La Rose Capbern Vintage 1953This Saint Estephe wine was shipped and bottled by Marshall Taplow Ltd, London. Established in 1760, but now sadly gone. It does show the strong ties between Bordeaux and British merchants. 1953 was an excellent vintage for the region and is now becoming quite rare. Typical blend, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc. 73cl bottle. Abv not stated. Bottle condition, capsule good, label good, wine level base of neck.
