Black bears are abundant, here in Vermont and I thought it only fitting to create a few with my needle & thread. Martha's head is punched with wonderful Moire' wool thread. I've then hand stitched it to a mohair head of the same shape & size. She has tiny, glass shoe button eyes & her chubby bear body is made from aged linen and stuffed with fine cedar sawdust and wool roving. She
