Historic Wood PeppermillThese finely turned peppermills were created by Doug Dill, master woodturner from Lanexa, Virginia. Wood for the peppermills were sourced from a white oak tree planted at Mount Vernon circa 1783. Fully functional for grinding pepper in the kitchen, or simply to display and add history to your home. The 4 " tall metal grinding mechanism has a sliding door to insert pepper corns. It is fastened to the top of the 5" handmade shaft by secure screws;
