Trillium macaroni Van Buren MosaicWe are thrilled to offer our first hybrid strain of toadshade that first popped up here in the botanic garden at Juniper Level. Many years ago, our population of Trillium x luteatum (cuneatum x luteum) from Van Buren County, Tennessee took a liking to a nearby Trillium maculatum, and before we knew it, there was a litter of babies. We immediately knew something was amiss since we'd never seen any trillium quite like this. The 10" tall, ruffled foliage
