The sandcasting method leaves a grainy surface texture that makes the ring appear to be forged from the earth. Made by a traditional sand casting method, where the main design is carved from wax and then imprinted into a sand mould. This space is then cast into with molten 9ct gold, which naturally forms settings around the gemstones as it cools.
