JPN: Pattern and Color by Samiro YunokiSamiro Yunoki became a dye artist after being inspired by the philosophy of Muneyoshi Yanagi and the work of Keisuke Serizawa. Yunoki continues to be active with exhibitions in Japan and overseas, including at the Guimet Museum in France. Over a career spanning 70 years, Yunokis patterns and colors have evoked Yanagis belief that beautiful patterns capture the essence of things. The pieces on exhibit highlight Yunokis use of color.
