Chuck Slatkoff Monumental Painting “Arcade” c. 1995Born in Baltimore in 1957, Slatkoff creates fictive compositions that allude to complex imaginary spaces. More than being about place, they are explorations of diverse emotions. In his canvases and paper work, he juxtaposes brightly colored forms that appear to have a third dimension where forms disappear into each other. Slatkoff holds a B. A. from Bard College and a M. F.
