Chateau Pichon Longueville au Baron de Pichon Longueville Vintage 1979The original estate was founded in 1689 as Enclos Rauzan and became Pichon Baron in 1694. It was splint into Pichon Baron and Pichon Comtesse in 1850 through inheritance. The 1979 vintage was thought of as a reasonably good year, but in our experience it has turned out better than expected in its senior years. Typical blend, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot. 75cl bottle.
