Peruvian Frazada in Mujer IncaThis frazada was handmade by artisans in the Andean highlands of Cusco Peru. It tells a story through symbolism of Women and the Inca Trail. The Inca trail is indicated by the initial design of a zigzag white "path" down each purple stripe of color. You can also see the symbol for the "Inca Cross" throughout, as well as some Quechua symbols of "waves" in pink and orange. This frazada also refers to the connection between Andean women and Mother Earth.
