Joseph Phelps Cabernet Sauvignon Vintage 2016Joseph Phelps fell in love with Napa Vineyards whilst working there on a project for his Colorado construction company. By 1973 he had released his first vintage. Best know for his Cabernet Sauvignon based wines, he soon built a strong reputation and his wines considered Californian Cult Classics. 2016 was an excellent vintage for the region. Typical blend, predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon with a little Petit Verdot, Merlot, Malbec and Cabernet Franc.
